  1. Preheat oven to 350b0F. Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. For glaze, whisk powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake and let set before slicing.
