  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and smooth.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in both semi-sweet and white chocolate chips evenly.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers are soft.
  9. Remove from oven; let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
