Let’s make it
- Heat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat butter and both sugars until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then mix into the butter mixture just until combined. Fold in chips.
- Scoop 24 portions onto the sheets, spaced 2 inches apart. Bake one sheet at a time for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers set. Cool 10 minutes on the sheet.
