  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix into wet ingredients, then fold in oats and raisins.
  4. Scoop 24 portions, spaced 2 inches apart. Bake one sheet at a time for 10–12 minutes until edges brown and centers set. Cool 10 minutes on the sheet.
