One step at a time

Let’s make it

  1. Put flour in one shallow bowl. Beat egg with water in another. Mix panko, Parmesan, paprika, salt, and oil in a third.
  2. Coat chicken lightly with flour, then egg, then crumbs. Discard leftover coating ingredients that touched raw chicken.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F if needed. Arrange chicken in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary.
  4. Cook 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until the thickest part of every tender reaches 165°F. Larger pieces may take longer.

A little kitchen know-how

Press the crumbs on gently so they adhere before moving the chicken into the basket.

Storage & leftovers

Refrigerate within 2 hours for up to 3 days. Reheat to 165°F.
