Let’s make it

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed pan with parchment.
  2. Place salmon skin-side down. Mix butter, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper and spoon over the fish.
  3. Bake 12–15 minutes, checking early for thin fillets, until the thickest part reaches 145°F.
  4. Scatter dill over the salmon and serve, leaving the skin behind if preferred.

Refrigerate within 2 hours and use within 3 days. Reheat gently, covered, to 165°F.
